KESA is a 17′ LOA (16′ on waterline) peapod based on the Cape Split design available from Mystic Seaport. Construction is strip-planked, covered with glass cloth and epoxy below the waterline. Topsides are glued-lap sapele plywood. The boat is a capable near-coastal cruiser, and is a past veterna of many Small Reach Regattas. An ideal boat for the Maine Island Trail.
Boat includes a small CLC lug rig with carbon mast plus removable rudder for downwind sailing. Also included is a Trailex SUT-350 aluminum trailer customized for this boat. $6,500.00
