Sail-and-Oar on the Tuckahoe
April 18
We will launch at high tide in Hillsboro, which is the head of navigation for Tuckahoe Creek.
We plan to row or sail downriver to Tuckahoe Bridge Landing, about 10 mile dowriver from Hillsboro. If we don’t get that far, we can take out at Covey’s Landing. We’ll stage shuttles at Tuckahoe Bridge and Covey’s to get us back to Hillsboro.
