The launch date is subject to wind and weather. We’re keeping the entire weekend open.
Boats on trailers can launch from the Shorter’s Wharf boat ramp. Paddlers may choose to launch from one of the other soft landings in Blackwater NWR. We’ll make our way toward the Blackwater “ponds”. TBD where we go after that. Join the discussion. Some of us are talking about an overnight trip, sleeping on our boats.
