Paddling with CBMM’s President

Join CBMM President Kristen Greenaway for a demonstration on how to use a Greenland paddle, followed by a paddle on the Miles River. Greenaway is a frequent participant in the annual WaterTribe Everglades Challenge, a 300-mile, day/night small craft paddle from Tampa, Fla., to the Florida Keys. Learn to Row / Small Boat Day

The Warren Rivers (RI) Chapter is hosting its second annual Learn to Row/Small Boat Day at the Warren, RI Town Beach. There will be a collection of small rowboats and dinghies available for children and adults to use to learn to row and just have some fun. There will also be some larger multi-oared boats for people to try out as crew members. People are encouraged to bring their own small boats to join in the fun.

Day sails and overnight camping will be decided based on participants and weather. Base camp will be the Dauphin Island campground near the ferry landing.
