SUMMARY:Menger Messabout #4
DESCRIPTION:The Menger Messabout is returning to Blackbeard Sailing Club on Upper Broad Creek of the Neuse River in eastern North Carolina. All catboats (and other traditionally rigged boats) are welcome to join the fun. Blackbeard is very welcoming and has primitive camping available for sailors and plenty of space for trailers. The messabout is free\, but there is a small fee to cover shared meals. The Spring winds are always good in mid-April. We will be sailing on the Neuse River and its tributaries\, possibly visiting historic New Bern for lunch on Saturday\, depending on the winds. We gather\, rig\, launch\, and sail on Friday afternoon. We sail together on Saturday and Sunday morning. Dockside and Visitor’s slips are available.  Send your questions to MengerMessabout@gmail.com
